He was behind the decks already in his early teens. Orginally he called himself DJ Menace, but when everyone pronounced that wrongly, it turned into Menasa. Ever since he has conquered the Caribbean dance-music scene. He was successful with Caribbean-based groups such as Basic One and Area 51, but also collaborated with Enmeris and The Party Squad. He reached an international high with the track “Bala” and is seen as the Caribbean answer to the sound of Diplo and Major Lazer. Now that he’s signed to Yellow Claw’s music label The Barong Family, all doors have opened for him, already resulting in a Tomorrowland gig in 2018. It’s EDM mixed with Moombathon and no matter how far apart these music styles are, Menasa is the one who turns that into a party in no time!
